ASU's Cronkite School launched the Content Creation degree this year, covering things like audience analytics, platform strategy, and digital branding. That's what the panel was actually arguing the value of, not Trainwreckstv specifically. The pushback was that AI tools can teach the same skills in a day for free, so the $40,000 price tag doesn't add up. The counterpoint was that dumb content tends to perform better regardless of formal training, and Trainwreckstv got used to illustrate the kind of outsized engagement top streamers pull in, not called out by name as the target.
The Irony Fox Missed
Trainwreckstv co-founded Kick, and years of live broadcasting built him into one of the biggest names in streaming.
